PCS will host a Parent Education Forum, "Teen Substance Abuse and Other Risky Behaviors", on Wed May 21st, at 7-9PM. It is free and open to the public. This event is not to be missed!

The topic is “Teen Substance Abuse and Other Risky Behaviors” and will be presented by two prominent local experts on the subjects. Both happen to be PCS parents! Alan Sherer will speak about teens and substance abuse, a topic that he is probably the most respected authority about in Santa Cruz. He is the founder and former director of Triad Community Services, an alcohol and drug abuse treatment program for teens and families, and he is now an LCSW in private practice with this same focus. Speaking about a variety of other risky teen behaviors will be Tony Hoffman Ph.D, Psychologist , UCSC psychology professor and in private practice with a special focus on counseling teens. They are both very experienced community speakers and we are honored to have them come talk and answer your questions.
